Windward AgSchool Cohort 8 CSA news + corn

Posted September 11, 2017

Every cohort in AgSchool runs a 3 week CSA, and in addition to practicing harvesting, processing and food safety skills, they also get a taste for customer service as they design a newsletter to share with the CSA members.  Each cohort is different and uniquely wonderful.  Check out the newsletter from Cohort 8 @ windward site.  Also  … aside from the veg crops overfilling the AgSchool plots, students also take part in longer term crop plots.  Pictured here is the recent corn harvest that will be ground into delicious cornmeal – that is if it isn’t just used for decoration since it is so gorgeous!
