  • AgCurious – Wednesday, September 14, 2017, 5:30-8:30 pm at the North Hawai’i Education and Research Center (NHERC) Conference Room, 45-539 Plumeria St., Honoka’a.  RSVP to TKC@gofarmhawaii.org or call 808-220-2312. AgCurious is where you will find out about and apply for the subsequent phases below and attendance is required to enroll.
  • AgXposure – 4 Saturdays: September 30, October 7, October 14 and October 21; 8 am – 2:30 pm
  • AgSchool – Wednesday evenings and Saturdays from November 1, 2017 – March 24, 2018.  Wednesdays 5:30pm-8:30pm @ NHERC in Honoka’a; Saturdays 8am-2:30pm @ The Kohala Center Demonstration Farm, 45-434 Lehua Street, Honoka’a

Kaua’i Field Trips – always good to get off the farm and learn from others

GFH@TKC: Congratulations Cohort 1 !

Cohort 1 from GFH@TKC (Hawai’i Island) has graduated from AgSchool this past month.  These pictures do a good job of showcasing some beautiful harvest by this cohort and in-field learning with visiting CTAHR Extension Agent Jari Sugano.  Great work Cohort 1 and thank you for paving the way for future cohorts!

GFH@windward AgSchool cohort 8 getting busy

Windward AgSchool students learned about and practiced bed prep for transplants and direct seeded crops today. Tomato and Eggplant transplants in!  They also created a future trellis line with t-posts and began their plot design: where should I plant what?!?!

GFH@Kaua’i at E Hoʻolōkahi Kā Lahui

Last Saturday GoFarm Hawai’i @ Kaua’i partipated in the E Hoʻolōkahi Kā Lahui community event.  Coach Eric and students kicked back gave away lots of Kalo and talked up the program like mad.

GFH@ Maui getting AgCurious!

On July 12, GFH@Maui held an AgCurious seminar with a full room of attendees looking for more information on the importance of Ag in Hawaii and options for new farmer training.  Looking forward to starting with a new cohort of future farmers in August!
