AgXposure to the rain
We had a rainy but excellent AgXposure day at Mohala Farms! Kathy and Mark gave us a very inspirational talk under the Hale, followed by a tour, and then some good hands on activities. We split into 2 groups and tackled some chicken paddocks maintenance and banana weeding/mulching. Even with the less than desirable weather, spirits were high and we were able to get a lot done and have a successful experience. I am including some pictures from the day. I could not be happier with and already proud of this group of people I am working with. –Daniel
Great stuff (Kawaikini edition)
At GoFarm Hawaii, our staff are very engaged in their communities and so great “stuff” is always happening — like at our Kaua`i site, where Coach Eric hosts children from Kawaikini (a Hawaiian charter school). More than a typical farm visit, the children come regularly to participate in many aspects of cultivating native (and non) crops and learn in a myriad of ways. Mahalo to Eric for the pictures and program!
