Open to the public (ages 12+):
- If minors are in attendance, they must be accompanied by an adult and have a signed waiver by their guardian. Please email us for the waiver (info@gofarmhawaii.org)
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING:
- Breaking down farm plots + weather damaged structures, pruning, composting, mulching trees, weeding, clearing buffer zones, cleaning banana plants, setting up lei flower fields, weeding fields, planting, and more!
AGENDA:
- 8:45a – Arrival (park + get situated)
- 9-9:30a – Intros & Welcome
- 9:30-10:15a – Farm tour
- 10:30a-12:15p – Hana! (Work)
- 12:15-1p – Lunch & Connect (lunch provided by GFH)
WHAT TO BRING (If you have):
- Cleaned + Sanitized – hand snips, hand saws, loppers, shovels, pitch forks, 5 gallon buckets (to move mulch and compost around)*Clean tools help keep a clean and disease free farm
- Water – we have a refill station at the farm site
- UV protective clothing – long sleeve shirt, pants, a hat
- Closed toe shoes are mandatory
