Cohort 1 from GFH@TKC (Hawai’i Island) has graduated from AgSchool this past month. These pictures do a good job of showcasing some beautiful harvest by this cohort and in-field learning with visiting CTAHR Extension Agent Jari Sugano. Great work Cohort 1 and thank you for paving the way for future cohorts!

GFH@ Maui getting AgCurious!
On July 12, GFH@Maui held an AgCurious seminar with a full room of attendees looking for more information on the importance of Ag in Hawaii and options for new farmer training. Looking forward to starting with a new cohort of future farmers in August!
All things Musa (bananas!)
Thank you to Gabe Sachter Smith (aka Banana Gabe) for sharing his deep knowledge on banana biology and production to a group of GFH students, AgIncubatees, alumni and coaches today in Waimanalo! The morning was spent covering themes such as varietal selection, finding disease free planting material, strategies for reducing disease pressure, how to establish plantings, how to manage mats and fertilization and irrigation needs.
