North Shore gets kicka** facilities
Our first AgPro cohort at Waialua had to make do with makeshift facilities, but Kevin Flanagan of Agrefab (and Waimanalo farmer and GoFarm Hawaii goto-guy for repairs on O’ahu) built this sweet 3-line food safety compliant wash station and cold storage cooler using Cool-Bot ™ technology. Thanks to Kevin and Pioneer for making this happen! The next cohort will be SO spoiled!
GoFarm @ The Kohala Center kicks off!
Our very first AgCurious event was held in Honoka’a on the Big Island. It was a great turnout with about 50 people attending, including speakers from Hawaii County and Kamehameha Schools (both supporters of the program), beginning farrmers, and uncle Jim Cain of King Laulau poi. Thanks to The Kohala Center for partnering with us to make this happen!
Next comes AgXposure and AgSchool — Exciting!
